Designers Lighting Forum Event March 2 at UC Irvine

The Designers Lighting Forum has announced an event on Tuesday, March 2, entitled: “UC Irvine Humanities Building From Competition to Completion” and featuring Eileen Thomas, IALD, LC, LEED AP /Konsortum 1.


The newly completed Humanities Building at UCI started out as a design competition with multiple teams, each led by a general contractor and architect, designing to UCI standards and criteria in an effort to win. Join the DLF back down in the OC with the lighting designer Eileen Thomas to learn how a design competition proposal is put together and how the design/build process at a public university works.


The event is aimed at lighting & interior designers, architects, engineers, manufacturers & representatives, and students.

Price: $10 Members, $15 Non-Members, $5 Students with ID

6:00pm Reception

7:00pm Presentation

Place: UCI Humanities Gateway Building, Room 1030 (first floor)
