I’m here at the BSMC courtesy of preeminent sound designer Jonathon Deans. So far about two-thirds through day one and it has been an enlightening education. Besides the one-on-one time with a representative of Shure who talked me through the wireless workbench software, Mr. Deans gave a terrfic entertaining and interactive presentation about the unpredictable future of theatrical sound.

Looking forward to the rest of this year’s program.

The Broadway Sound Master Classes have been wonderful opportunities to workshop and discuss the new, cutting edge, sound technologies and the possibilities they can provide to designers. It has been an amazing experience to communicate with and to learn from legendary industry professionals on the forefront of modern design today.
