Shrek and Billy Elliot designers win Outer Critics Circle Awards
The Outer Critics Circle awards were announced the other day, with Shrek and Billy Elliot taking top honors in the design categories, as follows:
Outstanding Set Design
Tim Hatley, Shrek the Musical
Outstanding Costume Design
Tim Hatley, Shrek the Musical
Outstanding Lighting Design
Rick Fisher, Billy Elliot
Billy Elliot won a total of seven awards including those for Outstanding New Broadway Musical, Outstanding New Score, and Outstanding Director of A Musical (Stephen Daldry)
