A Legend Moves On…Craig Redden of Epic/Q1 passes away.
Shocked and dismayed to hear that Craig Redden died yesterday in LA… Craig and I had done many shows together, first with Westsun, later with Q1 and the new Epic… He was always a dynamo, a huge source of energy, and somebody who truly loved his business. I’m going to miss him terribly…

Craig was a friend I have known for 30+ years. Like most touring people we never seen eachother much but we’re close like brothers.
You can just bet he’s putting people together now and doing it all again.
We all will miss him dearly
RIP Redrock
Your buddy Cleatus!

He was a great man, very dedicated especially to his job,he was a great friend,co-worker,uncle and father and husband.He had a chance to do things..extrodinary things and he did . He was truely a great man and anyone who has met my uncle would know how great he really was .

Yes. Craig was larger than life and will be missed by all. He has paved the way for the next steps that Epic will take. Personally, I will miss his humor and caring ways.

Craig was married to my aunt Judith. He was my favorite uncle, always funny, respectful and articulate. Never have I seen him mad or upset. He always made light of every situation. Even when i was sad and i spoke to him he could make me laugh. My nickname for him was ‘craiggy.’ So craiggy, i miss u dearly and though u are gone u will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart. You have left a lasting imprint in my life that will last to the end of time. love you so much.

A PSALM OF LIFE
by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
(What the heart of the young man said to the psalmist)
Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
“Life is but an empty dream!”
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
And things are not what they seem.
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
“Dust thou art, to dust returnest,”
Was not spoken of the soul.
Not enjoyment, and not sorrow,
Is our destined end or way;
But to act, that each tomorrow
Finds us farther than today.
Art is long, and Time is fleeting,
And our hearts, though stout and brave,
Still, like muffled drums, are beating
Funeral marches to the grave.
In the world’s broad field of battle,
In the bivouac of Life,
Be not like dumb, driven cattle!
Be a hero in the strife!
Trust no Future, howe’er pleasant!
Let the dead Past bury its dead!
Act, -act in the living Present!
Heart within, and God o’erhead!
Lives of great men all remind us
We can make our lives sublime,
And, departing, leave behind us
Footprints on the sands of time;
Footprints, that perhaps another,
Sailing o’er life’s solemn main,
A forlorn and shipwrecked brother,
Seeing, shall take heart again.
Let us, then, be up and doing,
With a heart for any fate;
Still achieving, still pursuing,
Learn to labour and to wait.

What a tremendous loss!! I was fortunate, however, to have shared 6 years of friendship with Craig and Judith. He had a great sense of humour, and always knew what to say to make laugh. He was a loving husband and terrific father; watching him with Chelsea & Terrell was so heart-warming. He had that quiet strength that was so evident as he would walk with his hands clasped behind his back with that pensive look. When I met my husband he also became friends with Craig, and came to like and respect him as much as I did. Though his death is a huge loss, his life should be celebrated because it touched thousands of people. May God bless you Craig; you will be loved and remembered for a very long time….
