But Is It Art?
Danish artist Olafur Eliasson made quite a splash recently with his four giant waterfalls in the New York City harbor. He was also the question of much speculation on the Stagecraft mailing list this week when another of his “art” pieces sold at Sotheby’s for $105,000.

Of course we have to assume the blue square on the wall is the “art” and not the fixture, but still…..

The blue thing on the wall is light. Apparently, he knows how to use the shutters. I found another photo of it and the box on the wall is orange. In any case, my sculpture professor wanted me to do something with light. Didn’t know it would be this easy…
